  • Krytox™ Performance Lubricant provides a unique combination of exceptional properties to provide a solution for some of the most challenging technical problems. It can replace a multitude of specially designed grease-based lubricants, having a wide range of applications.

    Its exceptional properties includes:

  • Remarkable operational temperature range: -36°C to 210°C; inert to acidic and/or corrosive detergent.
  • Excellent frictional properties for long wear and low energy consumption.
  • Does not cause polymer swelling, shrinking and deforming.
  • Compatible with all metal, elastomer, plastic, painting and finishes.
  • Significantly lowers repair costs.

      Conventional Lubricants  Krytox™ 
     Oxidation Slow oxidation, forms acid and sludge; Rapid oxidation, catching fire or explosion. Does not react with oxygen nor liquid oxygen. Does not age.
    High Temperature  Accelerates oxidation, carbonization and coking. Lacks temperature resistance, causes lubricant liquifying and loss. Increases evaporation, causes dry running condition. Within -36°C to 210°C, low evaporation at high temperature, no carbonization, coking or depositing.
    Water or Moist Environment  Condensation or leaked water causes emulsion; absorbs water. Water vapor resistant. Not soluable in water.
    Seal Corrosion  Lubricant leakage, damages equipment. Does not cause equipment swelling, shrinking and deforming.
     Chemicals Can be corroded by acid, base or organic material. Chemically inert. Withstands nearly 2000 chemicals including strong acids and bases. Insoluable in most solvents.

    Test Frequency

    Usage

    1. Locate source of noise, site lacking lubrication or area requiring protection. Clean with soft cloth or absorbent cotton and keep dry.
    2. Lubricate the site or part. Apply extra layers if needed to make sure lubricant is well-distributed.
    3. Let sit for 10 seconds to distribute. In case of excess lubricant used, clean with soft cloth.

    Note

    In case of eye contact, rinse eyes thoroughly with water and seek medical attention.
